Hey everyone!

We officially leave EMU in less than 12 hours! At 5 am tomorrow morning we leave for Dulles Airport from which we're flying to San Salvador and then to Guatemala City. It is so crazy that we are leaving so soon! Since Monday we have been going through orientations and meetings to prepare us for the trip. It's been enlightening, exciting, and a little bit overwhelming at times. Already we have seen several instances in which God has profoundly moved in our group. He works in truly mysterious and powerful ways. Our themes of the week and the trip include learning from the stranger and exploring the influence of empires. I can not wait to see what all there is to be learned from those we will be living and interacting with on a daily basis. Thoughts and prayers will be greatly appreciated as we spend tomorrow traveling!
